FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Drive Helps to Save Hundreds of lives across North America
LOS ANGELES (September 11, 2017) – Real-life Warriors of Light offered a helping hand to those in need this summer during the FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Stormblood drive. With more than 400 pints of blood donated, the blood drive efforts helped save over 1200 lives all over North America.
The Square Enix® – American Red Cross collaboration consisted of a Stormblood-themed bloodmobile at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The Bloodmobile appeared at college campuses across Southern California this past June and July.
The blood drive began in the days leading up to the successful June launch of FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Stormblood™, the second expansion of the acclaimed MMORPG. Kicking off the tour, FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida presented a $50,000 donation to the American Red Cross, on behalf of Square Enix.

Capcom has confirmed that the Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition is coming to retail and digital on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, along with the remaining DLC for the game, all on December 12, 2017. The newly announced title will include all the contents from the critically acclaimed release earlier in 2017 along with all three pieces of downloadable add-on content, in one ultimate horror package. These previously released DLC packs – Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Banned Footage Vol. 2 will be included as well as the upcoming third DLC release End of Zoe. Blizzard’s hero shooter Overwatch released a total of three additional characters in the year since it launched in May 2016, teasing through in-game hints and in-universe lore blogs. Two New Jobs: Samurai and Red Mage – The highly anticipated Samurai and Red Mage jobs make their debut in Stormblood. The DPS jobs introduce new fighting styles for players to enjoy—learn and master the art of “Sen” as the Samurai, or unleash hybrid magic and melee combos with the Red Mage’s Chainspell ability.
Level Cap Increase – The level cap for jobs and classes will be raised from 60 to 70. Players will need to make full use of the new powers at their disposal to defeat their Garlean adversaries.
Swimming and Diving – Explore Eorzea’s pristine waters with the addition of swimming and diving. Players will be able to journey deep into the depths upon completing special prerequisites.
New Beast Tribes and Primals – Players will encounter both the ancient Ananta, an all-female tribe who worship the primal Lakshmi in the mountains of Gyr Abania, and the Kojin—skilled traders residing in underwater settlements who worship the Lord of Revel, Susano.
Fourth Residential District – Shirogane, an island belonging to the Far Eastern nation of Hingashi: open to adventurers who frequent the port of Kugane. Those with a fondness for Far Eastern aesthetics will find it the perfect place to call home. Plots of land will be available for sale beginning with Patch 4.1.
